    POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

    The Chicago Program Coordinator oversees class set-up, customer management, partnership retention and supports partnership growth within the region. You will communicate with partners to clarify and update coach requirements and class programming specifics (times/dates/age groupings, etc) You will work behind the scenes using data to ensure classes are set up in our system, you will use proactive planning and clear communication to Soccer Stars management and Partner Directors to ensure a positive class experience for our partners.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Class Management
    • Seasonal schedule confirmation with each partner for after-school or enrichment programs
    • Manage all class logistics (equipment drop offs, weather-related changes, and updates with after-school or enrichment programs and maintain accuracy within our registration system)
    • Communicate changes to management and coaches to ensure program success
    • Managing location specifics for coach requirements, equipment needs, schedule changes, weather issues and more
    Partner/Customer Management
    • Check in with Partners proactively to ensure Soccer Stars of Chicago standards are met or exceeded; gather feedback and information on upcoming programs/seasons
    • Communicate program detail reminders to customers - no classes, new season, coach changes and more through email and/or phone contact
    • Help to facilitate the resolution process for all escalated customer service issues
    • Meet with existing partners periodically to solidify relationships, gather feedback, plan upcoming seasons and events, explore growth opportunities
    Program Growth
    • Contribute to and support seasonal schedule strategy for after-school or enrichment programs
    • Support grassroots marketing campaigns to promote partner programming
    • Assist with implementing strategies to increase enrollment and attendance
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Undergraduate degree preferred
    • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to cultivate relationships and build rapport
    • Comfort and experience communicating via phone and email
    • Self-starter; growth and results-oriented
    • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Passion for sports and children
    • Customer service experience
    • Early childhood education experience, a plus
    • Able to serve as backup assistant coach on as-needed basis, a plus
