As the North America gas market looks to adapt to the generational changes driven by the Energy Transition, we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to provide clarity to our clients in a time of unprecedented uncertainty
Passionate about the role of energy markets in constantly evolving times, you will identify, interpret, analyze and forecast gas – and wider energy – market dynamics, including supply-demand, storage and pricing.
Internally, you will work closely with analysts across Natural Gas' multi-disciplinary team and the broader Commodities group to develop new insights and expand the scope of existing products.
Externally, you will understand clients' workflows and ensure we continue to deliver data and analysis in the most impactful way.
You will also grow the company brand and your own personal brand, maintaining positive relationships with clients and the natural gas industry, through regular engagements, and informative analysisMain Tasks And Responsibilities
Contribute to and eventually lead market analysis commentary, providing clients with the gas fundamentals they need to know through regular reports and presentations
Identify and deliver improvements in the delivery of impactful data and analysis
Identify, support and implement opportunities for the development of natural gas upstream and pricing analysis and forecasting
Provide regional flow analysis and reporting of dynamic changes across North America
Preferred Qualifications And Experience
BA, BS or Master's Degree or equivalent experience
Five years' relevant market experience within either an industry or academic environment
A confident communicator in all forms, both internally and externally
Equally comfortable working as part of a hard-working, distributed team and delivering autonomously, with proven experience independently conducting research
Experience with fundamental analysis of North America natural gas market
Fundamental analysis skills, especially drivers of price formation and direction, supply and demand, and storage
Experience using and/or maintaining supply/demand forecasting models using various quantitative and qualitative methods
Programming experience would be a bonus(Python, Matlab, R)
