    Position Summary


    The Research Technician will assist with lab management operations and to assist the Principal Investigator and members of the laboratory with experiments involving molecular biology, behavior, biochemistry, electrophysiology, electrochemistry and immunohistochemistry.

    Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

    Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

    Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

    Our ideal candidate possesses the following:

    • Experience with rodent handling, immunohistochemical assays and image analysis.
    • Experience with rodent sleep studies and behavioral assays.
    • Experience designing and analyzing experiments using Ethovision, experience with training others in basic laboratory techniques.
    • Some experience with fast scan cyclic voltammetry and carbon fiber electrode fabrication.
    Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

    Working knowledge of microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint)
