    Magid Glove and Safety is a leading manufacturer and distributor of safety products and head-to-toe personal protective equipment (PPE).     The District Sales Manager will build a sales territory through new account generation and increasing existing accounts. We are looking for a "hunter," someone with a passion for outside sales and a desire to build a sales territory through cold-calling and canvassing. This is a remote position with a home office. You will be in the field four days a week with occasional overnight travel.

    This position involves consultative selling and requires you to focus on understanding our customer's needs and goals so that you can provide tailored solutions. Once fully trained, you will be part of our team of safety professionals who specialize in identifying potential hazards, assessing risks, and implementing measures to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment.

    Work Arrangement: This position is remote with a home office. You will be in the field four days a week, usually just windshield travel, but some overnight travel too.

    What you'll be doing:
    • New business development through cold calling and canvassing.
    • You will be in the field interfacing with customers and training end-users about 4 days a week.
    • Assist customers in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards and conducting risk assessments.
    • Assist companies in developing safety policies and procedures.
    • Facilitate training on best practices for maintaining a safe workplace.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements in safety protocols.
    • Implementing sales programs with existing accounts.
    • Developing proposals to generate new business.
    What we'll do for you:

    As a new Magid outside sales employee, you will participate in a comprehensive training program. In addition to becoming familiar with our catalog, your training will mold you into a true safety expert. Eventually, the customers in your territory will begin to recognize you as a strategic business partner to help minimize the risk of accidents, protect employees, and ensure regulatory compliance.

    What we're looking for:
    • At least 2-5 years of successful selling and building client relationships experience, ideally in the industrial or manufacturing verticals.
    • Ability to develop strategic client relationships.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
