Onsite InterviewsEssential ResponsibilitiesMateria Handlerl:

Receives, unpacks, inspects and checks incoming materials fordefects and overage/shortage and damage
Commonly used tools are:

tape measure, micrometer, calipers,thread gage, plug gage, volt ohm meter (VOM)-Work with warranty returns and maintain the will call area-Sign for and receive incoming packages-Lead the effort to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness ofreceiving and inspection proceduresWill operate forklift, crane and pallet jack-Perform inventory counts as needed-Provide support and backup the stockroom, projects and shippingdepartments-Interface daily with internal customers to meet business objectives and external customer requirements-Coordinate return material authorizations (RMA) with outsidevendors and Client Shipping team-Package product for shipmentWork with sourcing to coordinate returns to suppliers, supplierdeviation requests and provide vendor quality data-Develop and improve inspection processes, written procedures andchecklists-Accepts independent responsibility for compliance to Environment,Health and SafetyQualifications/RequirementsDesired CharacteristicsFollow all department policies and proceduresHigh School Diploma / GEDMinimum of 1 year of experience in receiving or stockroom/kitting ina manufacturing environmentELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift 40 lbs and use hand and power tools for un-packaging and moving productAssociates Degree or higher in a technical disciplineMinimum of 2 years of experience in Mechanical or ElectricalAssemblySolid computer and basic math skillsSAP experienceERP experienceAble to read technical drawingsMust be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within receiving/material inspectionStrong written and verbal communication skills via phone, electronic, and person to personProven ability to work effectively in a team environmentFlexible and effective under changing conditions and with different tasks, responsibilities and peopleAble to flow back and forth between projects while maintainingdepartmental quality standardsDependableSafety-minded at all timesPlease Note:
