Description
We are seeking a New York State-certified and licensed Dermatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established Dermatology practice in the Brighton Beach area. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, diagnostic, and clinical skills, as well as a MINIMUM of 2 years of experience in dermatology.
Job Summary:
As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include interacting with patients, diagnosing and treating various skin conditions, providing patient education on treatment plans and medications, and performing minor skin procedures such as shave, punch, and excisional biopsies. Additionally, you will be responsible for entering relevant data into our Electronic Medical Record software, requiring basic computer literacy.
You will be working closely with our Head Dermatologist, who has 20 years of experience in the field.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
1. Possess extensive knowledge of skincare treatments
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
3. Demonstrates outstanding professionalism and treats patients and colleagues with respect
4. Ability to maintain a polite and patient demeanor with a friendly attitude
5. Exhibits a good bedside manner, showing empathy towards patients' needs and concerns
6. Demonstrates emotional stability and a strong desire to help others
7. Ability to work well with physicians, anticipating their needs in regards to patient treatment
8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
9. Well-organized with great attention to detail
10. Ability to tolerate stress and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
11. Capable of making sound decisions
12. Works effectively as a team member
13. Possesses a good understanding of coding
14. Experience with EMR systems
15. Fully bilingual in Russian and English – A PLUS
