    Cloud Platform Architect

    Fully remote opportunity with 40% travel requirement.

    Top Skills:

    Minimum 3 years of experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, AZURE, Google) and Automation/Infrastructure as Code concepts using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with sales engineers/cloud consultants to validate customer requirements and translate scope into actionable items.
    • Contribute to High-Level Designs and Low-Level Designs for areas of expertise.
    • Design and implement multi-cloud IT solutions and service offerings at customer sites.
    • Maintain required knowledge on company-offered solutions and stay current with emerging technologies.
    • Educate others within the organization in areas of expertise.
    • Participate in innovation teams for emerging technology solutions.

    Qualifications:

    • At least 3 years of experience designing, deploying, and implementing Private, Public, and Hybrid Cloud Technologies.
    • Professional services experience leading large enterprise deployments.
    • Experience with virtualization technologies.
    • Strong understanding of Agile and/or ITIL methodologies.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

    Required Skills & Knowledge:

    • Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud and associated integrations.
    • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
    • Understanding of Virtualization, Networking, Data Center, and Security principles.

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with automation tools such as Salt, Puppet, Chef, etc.
    • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and cloud ecosystem products and solutions.
    • Industry certifications related to Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
