Job summary
MRI technologists operate MRI scanners to produce images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness or injury. ,
- Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination including cardiac pacemaker, aneurysm clips, stapendectomy eye surgery. ,
- Prepares room equipment medicine materials as needed for patient care exams includes contrast media medications applicable MRI exams.
