The Sales Coordinator will assist the Area Sales Rep, Quality Director, and Engineering Manager. This position reports to the Area Sales Rep. and the President.

    Sales Coordinator

    Reports To:

    President, Area Sales Rep, Engineering Manager

    Purpose:

    Streamline sales processes, collect and distribute necessary information for sales to be pushed through the funnel, create a consistent and timely flow of communication, and assist in completion of sales. Implementing BiltWise sales processes in every piece of each transaction.

    Business Outcomes:

    • Communication between important parties (sales reps/clients) is smooth & seamless
    • Costing is accurate and done in a timely manner
    • Clients are tended to in a timely manner

    Essential Functions:

    1. Day to day management: Answering phone calls. Pricing houses. Communicating change orders. Re-pricing change orders. Software heavy position, getting estimates for clients in our HomeBase software. Communication heavy position. Coordinates with engineers and designers who are doing renderings and drawings. Plant tours. Direct relationships with the builder network: maintaining builder relationships and establishing new ones.
    2. Appointment Setting: Sets appointments for new builders and prospects to come to the plant. Assists in organizing and guiding tours. Knows how to scout qualified prospects, knows how to qualify if a prospect is useful to us or not. Answers questions that come up on these tours as they relate to our product and industry. Answers client questions as they arise after or before visits.
    3. Costing & Change Orders: The sales coordinator will be responsible for costing and change orders. When something needs to be changed about a build, they will price that into the project and gets the appropriate approvals on all ends. They will also coordinate with purchasing, engineering, and designers as needed for these change orders.

    This is not an exhaustive list of duties, and other responsibilities will come to this position as we see fit. This is a start-up, and the person in this position can expect to wear many hats.

    Required Skills & Abilities:

    • Good organizational and planning skills
    • Good verbal and written communications skills
    • Outgoing individual who enjoys interpersonal interaction
    • Proficient with spreadsheets and mathematical calculations, understands finance
    • Experience with construction in some capacity
    • Experience with sales in some capacity
    • Excel experience
    • Aptitude for picking up new software
    • Must have tenacity

    Education & Experience:

    • 3-5 years experience in sales, construction, advertising, or related field
    • Bilingual a plus
    • Experience with maintaining a company email address and LinkedIn account
