    The purpose of this position is to

    deliver technical and customer support

    for the

    Project Information Management System (PIMS)

    solution. PIMS is an

    internally developed and maintained Microsoft SharePoint-based system

    that assists our business partners (TSS, SPC, SNC) in

    managing project-related files and metadata

    related to engineering projects for our client. In addition to SharePoint and Office Online Server (OOS), PIMS includes

    custom-developed .NET forms

    and has been

    tailored to meet the specific needs of business users .

    This position involves

    daily support

    for

    SharePoint

    and

    Office Online Server (OOS) , encompassing tasks such as

    site administration, configuration, monitoring, account management, and patching . The role necessitates

    addressing end-user requirements and resolving issues , ensuring the system operates as expected. Additionally, the position entails

    ongoing monitoring and maintenance

    of the SharePoint and OOS site. The incumbent is responsible for

    regularly reviewing and updating administrative documentation .

    Collaboration within a team environment, including one developer resource and two technical analysts, is a key aspect of this role.


    Required Skills and Knowledge:


    Proficient working with SharePoint 2019 and Office Online server systems running on a Windows Platform, including troubleshooting, user account management, intranet development, and server maintenance and monitoring.

    Proficient with basic Windows administration for the purposes of supporting SharePoint and OOS.
    Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL Server database systems is required.
    Basic to intermediate knowledge of computer systems and application support is required.
    Basic understanding of physical/virtual servers and computer network concepts is required.
    Working understanding of Active Directory is required. SAML and Office 365 authentication & authorization methods and their integration into SharePoint & OOS is desirable.
    Basic PowerShell programming skills are desirable.

    Excellent communication (oral, written, active listening) and organizational skills required to succeed within the team and liaise information with the customer.


    Experience and Education:
    Degree in Computer Science/MIS/CIS or equivalent experience is required.
    Microsoft certifications in Microsoft SharePoint or Office Online Server administration a plus.
    Experience supporting and troubleshooting computer systems is a plus.
    General understanding of computer system infrastructure, operations, and security is a plus.
    Knowledge of electric utility and/or project management software is a plus.

    Must have a customer focused attitude and the desire and ability to learn about our core business and its needs.

    Must have proficient knowledge in using basic office productivity tools (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
    We are seeking candidates with a strong ability to analyze complex situations, devise effective solutions, and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
    Demonstrated capability to manage and prioritize various tasks efficiently, even when faced with conflicting demands.
    Proficiency in assigning responsibilities to appropriate team members and knowing when to escalate issues for timely resolution.

    Behavioral Aspects:
    Must have strong interpersonal skills, be a self-starter, a decision-maker, flexible, and a team player.
    Must possess the ability to build and maintain relationships within a team.


    Other Requirements:
    Willingness to shift work hours to support after-hours SharePoint and OOS patching requirements.


    The hourly pay range for this position is $40/hr to $50/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
