- Assist with administrative and operational tasks, such as mentoring, training, and overseeing daily operations through a variety of channel (i.e. in-person, phone, chat).
- Act as informal subject matter expert and communicate complex program requirements, expectations, and timeframes.
- Provide feedback for improving processes and experiences.
- Use a variety of county and state computer systems to access client and case data.
- Serve as a communication point for partner agencies such as Childcare Assistance and Employment Services; communicate program information to external providers (e.g., landlords, clinics, hospitals).

The Economic Supports area of Human Services and Public Health (HSPH) is seeking to fill several Administrative Assistant Intermediate positions to be part of the Onsite Resident Service team. These staff will be ensuring the consistent, accurate and efficient delivery of onsite services by Economic Supports. These positions will support Onsite Resident Services management with administrative and operational tasks. This position will allow for working with staff at all levels within the service area as well as working with partners in the department and apply best practices of the Onsite Resident Service Team. The individuals hired will be expected to continue to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Location and hours:
These positions are on-site and will be located at one of our Hennepin County Human Service Center locations. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
About the position types:
These are full-time, benefit earning positions. You must be a current regular or probationary employeeof the Human Services and Public Health department to apply for these positions. Limited duration employees are not eligible.
