    Responsibilities:

    • Identify operational weaknesses and offer improvement suggestions
    • Conduct a purge study of purged meat and offer suggestions to minimize waste (including creating a cost savings analysis between different time of slicers)
    • Manage a time study concerning machine turnover
    • Record and report product diameters and lengths
    • Working closely with the Manager and/or assigned staff member to complete allocated tasks
    • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and maintain project deadlines
    • Other duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
    • Currently enrolled in a college/university earning a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Food Industry Management, Food Science, or related field
    • Past experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
    • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a Plus
