    Job Title: LPN/LVN Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse

    Company: Senior Living Community

    Report To: Health and Wellness Director

    FLSA Status: Hourly

    Shift: Full-time / Part-time / PRN

    Job Overview

    The LPN/LVN Nurse plays a key role in collaborating with healthcare professionals to care for patients with various conditions. Responsibilities include liaising with doctors and RNs, administering medications, and monitoring patients' vital signs.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support and promote the organization's mission, vision, and culture.
    • Participate in shift handovers.
    • Ensure proper documentation is completed according to company standards.
    • Supervise Resident Assistants within the nursing department.
    • Administer medications following guidelines.
    • Coordinate medication orders and reordering processes.
    • Communicate with physicians regarding patient care.
    • Monitor and record vital signs of residents.
    • Assist in developing and maintaining care plans.
    • Participate in training and stay updated with industry changes.
    • Address concerns of residents, families, and staff.
    • Contribute to the community's success and residents' well-being.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Educational background and state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) required.
    • Active LPN licensure with good standing.
    • Preferably one to two years of experience in assisted living.
    • CPR certification.
    • Proficient in English for administrative tasks.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Walk/Stand continuously.
    • Perform tasks both indoors and outdoors.
    • Occasional sitting.
    • Handle varying weights and climb stairs.
    • Bend, lift, carry, push, squat, twist, and reach as needed.
