Tannahill Tavern & Music Hall is seeking to add new members to their pizza cooking team. As a Pizza Cook, you'll play a key role in crafting mouth-watering pizzas that align with our recipes and quality standards. Your culinary skills and keen eye for detail will significantly impact the overall performance of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas, ensuring they meet our quality standards and are cooked to perfection.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines diligently to maintain taste and presentation consistency.
- Create pizza dough, sauces, and toppings.
- Supervise food inventory levels and place orders for supplies when necessary.
- Keep a tidy and orderly workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Work closely with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak hours.
- Aid in menu development and contribute innovative concepts for new pizza varieties or specials.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Pizza Cook or similar position in a restaurant environment.
- Solid understanding of food safety protocols and correct food handling practices.
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting without compromising attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using knives to slice ingredients is advantageous.
- Familiarity with menu planning and culinary methods is a bonus.
- Team player with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with peers.
