Description
Responsibilities as Senior Paralegal (Litigation) vary and include:
Assist Attorneys in all aspects of litigation work
Document Production: Collection of materials, maintaining chain of custody, handling logistics of production of documents
Substantive Research: analyzing documents and materials, researching rules of procedurt for court venues
Coordinating, preparing and filing briefs and legal documents
Managing trial & hearing preparations
Profile
The ideal Senior Paralegal (Litigation) will have demonstrable experience:
~5+ years' litigation paralegal experience required
~8+ years overall paralegal experience required
~ Proficiency in legal drafting, research, and writing
~ Excellent customer service and communication skills
~ Fully versed in Microsoft Excel
~ Strong clerical skills for organizing and maintaining documents, research and court preparation
~ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
~ Attention to detail and accuracy
~ As this is the first Paralegal role in the Boston office, an interest in advising on and playing a part in building/ leading the local paralegal function would be of great interest to the firm
Job Offer
The Senior Paralegal (Litigation) will receive:
Competitive salary $95,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
Overtime eligible, ability to work flexibly around overtime and ocassional travel is essential
