    Job Title:

    The Supervisor of Patient Access oversees the daily registration functions within Patient Access's scope of work.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Promotes a positive patient experience for patients and families.
    • Servicing efficient and compliant registration processes ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements including adherence to departmental and institutional protocols.
    • Ensures staffing schedules are maintained, prioritizing responsibilities to complete daily work requirements, resolves departmental and patient problems as needed and monitors key performance metrics to ensure goals are achieved.
    • Manages on-site operations, responds to patient complaints or stakeholder concerns, and identifies ways to improve registration processes.
    • Participates in interviewing and hiring new employees, shares in education and training, and monitors new employee onboarding.
    • Provides constructive communication to service delivery areas, appraises staff performance, addresses complaints and resolves issues that may arise, and acts as a mentor for staff.
    Requirements:
    • Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration required or 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Minimum 2 years of patient registration experience and 3 years of supervisory experience.
    • Proficient with Computer and Microsoft Office skills and familiar with healthcare EHR applications.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Knowledge of patient registration, third-party insurance coverage, and manage care plans.
    • Strong quality assurance and critical thinking skills.
    Estimated Salary Range:$60,000 - $80,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience.Covid Vaccination Requirement:Jefferson requires all employees working at clinical entities to be vaccinated against Covid-19. If not currently vaccinated, you will need to receive the vaccination prior to your hire date unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
