Harvard Kennedy School's IT (Information Technology) Department is seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Engineer to develop and implement solutions for a variety of IT Security-related projects and initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and operationalizing a robust and proactive security program to protect the school's critical technical infrastructure and data.
Strong technical, collaboration, communication, and creative skills are essential.Duties and Responsibilities (included, but not limited to)
Lead comprehensive design, development, and implementation of HKS information architectures, solutions, and policies.
The role will focus on both technical and administrative aspects of security, and requires extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing, upgrading, managing, and supporting network and server infrastructure.
Lead research and design of robust and secure IT architecture, solutions, and policies.Lead the build, configuration and documentation of IT infrastructure and Security Solutions.
Execute technical direction ensuring stability, reliability, and integration.
Establish guidelines and standards for IT services.
Serve as an information security expert, recommending strategic solutions and ensuring compliance with enterprise and IT security policies and regulations.
