MachinistResponsibilities:
I.

Position Summary and Primary ResponsibilitiesMust have experienced operating a Horizontal Boring MillMust have blueprint reading experience to fabricate parts, tools, jigs, and fixtures.

Must have understanding of Tooling needed to machine partsMust be a problem solver - understanding and use of Math, to be able to research information in Machinery Handbook, that applies to task running across this work center, Parts are small and large, Machining Tolerances are sometimes / Maintains quality output while meeting department production requirements.

Must have good knowledge of machining practices.
Must have reading comprehension skills to understand work orders, written instructions, and drawings.
Must have mathematical skills to perform basic calculations.
Must have oral communication skills to exchange information with co-workers, supervisor and/or manager.
Must have hand-eye coordination, depth perception.
