    **Summary**

    As Burrow continues its rapid growth, product diversification and international expansion, we are seeking a detail- and action-oriented, entrepreneurial Inventory Planner to manage demand planning and inventory management across our diverse product portfolio. This new role will be responsible for maximizing our top line revenue potential by ensuring the health of our inventory, creating appropriate order strategies that balance cash flow and inventory levels, and will develop and own the strategies to successfully expand into new products categories. As the Planner you will sit at the nexus of Merchandising, Sourcing, Operations, Finance, and Accounting, and will be the leader in driving our current and future planning strategies forward. This role reports into our VP of Operations.

    **Day-to-Day Responsibilities**

    Develop, maintain, and improve demand planning models to provide accurate product forecasts in an ever-changing business environment

    Apply analytical tools to ensure the accuracy of forecasts and to develop strategies to reduce forecast bias

    Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare forecast data for new products and categories

    Update appropriate cross functional departments including marketing, ecommerce, merchandising, customer experience, and partnerships with product availability information to align customer expectations with realistic ship dates

    Work closely with sourcing, production, and external vendors team to identify, monitor, and communicate to the team any issues affecting delivery against forecasts and customer orders

    Partner with finance and accounting to understand cash flow implications for forward looking purchasing strategies, and alignment of these strategies with the company revenue model

    Analyze current inventory position and risks to recommend and communicate markdown and promotional strategies

    Execute and transmit new product and replenishment purchase orders to suppliers

    Manage special projects aligned with company strategic growth plans

    ** Job requirements**

    Minimum 5 years retail or ecommerce planning and/or inventory management experience; experience in direct-to-consumer ecommerce a plus

    Solid understanding of retail inventory metrics including; sales, inventory turn, sell through, weeks of supply, in-stock rates, and how each of these metrics impact the P&L

    Advanced level Microsoft excel skills, with a knack for creative problem solving
