    Speech Language Pathologist | School Year

    Are you an experienced and passionate Speech Language Pathologist looking for a rewarding full time opportunity near Morris, Illinois? Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with local schools, is excited to offer a dynamic role in the field of special education.

    Job Duties:

    1. Complete Evaluations in the areas of Speech, Language, and Hearing
    2. Gather information through interviews, observations, and other meaningful practices to solicit relevant information regarding Student s overall Speech/Language functioning.
    3. Progress monitoring, consultation and collaboration with school personnel and parents
    4. Diagnose and assess students using appropriate tests
    5. Identify, screen, evaluate, and prepare reports
    6. Provide therapy to remediate and reduce impairments that interfere with Student s educational program.
    7. Develop and implement an IEP for pupils with speech and language deficits that meet state criteria.

    Requirements:

    • Master s in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
    • Certified through ASHA / CCC s completed
    • Must hold have active license through State of Illinois
