MTC is proud to operate the Los Angeles Job Corps Center in Los Angeles, CA where our staff provide quality services to our local youth.

You'll be responsible for a variety of functions related to overseeing managers and supervisors in the Residential/Dorm life, Security, Recreation, and Transportation departments at the training site with 614 students in compliance with government and management directives.

Plan, coordinate, and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of the department.
Hire, train, and coach staff within the department.
Monitor shift schedules; Manage the scheduling and operation of center-sponsored recreation activities and programs.
Establish, and implement training programs for employees and students regarding safety & security, residential living, and recreation departments.
Inspect dormitories weekly for quality standards, and coordinate with maintenance to resolve any facility issues.
Ensure records for the shift and dormitories are maintained up to date. Monitor timeliness and quality of student case note entries in CIS.
Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
