- Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience related specifically to trauma or critical care.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.

Avera is looking for a Trauma Services Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator to join our team
Job Summary
Responsible for the coordination of clinical excellence through concurrent monitoring of clinical outcomes and effective clinical quality processes. Collaborates with the medical staff and healthcare team by assessing and facilitating, planning, and advocating for the health needs of the trauma patient. Will perform clinical auditing and data abstraction of patient records for disease specific registries in support of facility's clinical process improvement and patient safety initiatives. Key responsibility is to collect accurate, complete, and timely data. This is accomplished through high quality data compilation, documentation of identified procedures performed or disease process treatment.
