- Assist in preparation and set-up of for surgical procedures in the office and hospital operating rooms.
- Monitor patients and assists with general anesthesia and IV sedation procedures in hospital and outpatient office settings.
- Discuss post-operative instructions for care and management with the patient. Relay post-operative complications/questions to surgeon.
- Maintain surgical equipment.
- Dental Anest Asst Natl Cert credentialed from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Dental Assistant credentialed from the Michigan Board of Dentistry obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
