- Ensure branch meets loan, deposit and referral goals.
- Develop and build center of influence to generate new business leads in the community.
- Participate in community organizations and activities to enhance Bank of Oak Ridge's presence in the local community.
- Lead branch outreach and business development efforts. Assist and coach branch staff to contribute effectively.
- Ensure the branch is profitable through income generation, loan growth, deposit growth, expense management, and branch marketing efforts.
- Provide leadership, training, coaching and supervision to branch staff.
- Create a successful sales and service culture consistent with Bank of Oak Ridge values and philosophies.
- Facilitate regular team meetings focused on sales, service and product training.
- Comply with Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering federal regulations and guidelines, internal bank policies, and complete annual training requirements.
- Minimum education level of HS diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a banking or financial services role, with a minimum of 3 years lending experience.
- Management and team leadership experience required. Prior experience as a financial service branch manager preferred.
- Knowledge of Bank operations, products, services, state and federal laws and regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
