    Opportunity:

    Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

    Job Details:


    • Work day shift Monday through Friday

    • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals while adhering to radiation safety standards

    • Perform wide variety of nuclear medicine exams and procedures including routine NM procedures, cardiac, and PET/CT

    • Work with patients of all ages to provide diagnostic data for physicians

    • Evaluate images for technical quality and perform post processing of data

    • Ensure proper patient identification is recorded

    • Perform quality control checks on cameras and laboratory equipment

    • Provide optimal patient care and competent IV catheter placement

    • Float between Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT departments

    • Minimum 3 years experience in Nuclear Medicine and/or PET/CT required

    • Required certifications: NMTCB or ARRT(N) and BLS

    • Work with advanced equipment including Philips Vereos PET/CT scanner, Philips Brightview XCT, Philips Skylight, and Siemens C.Cam cardiac camera

    • Use specialized software including Philips Intellispace Portal and PACS, Autoquant/Autospect, 4DM, and Siemens e.soft

    • Dress code requirement: pewter scrubs

    • Call may be required
