- Exceed customer expectations by taking initiative and delivering value
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, agency, and company personnel
- Grow the business by acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones
- Assess risks, develop insurance programs, and identify opportunities for upselling
- Stay informed about industry changes and laws affecting customers' insurance programs
- Educate customers on risk exposures, market trends, and new products
- Participate in industry associations to expand the network and promote the agency
- Actively seek new customers through referrals, cold calls, and personal connections
- Present and deliver insurance policies, gather underwriting information, and analyze data
- Conduct risk exposure analysis and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and handle sensitive information securely
- 2+ years of Sales experience
- Property & Casualty License required
- Professional Designations encouraged
- Active involvement in trade/social/community associations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in using computer systems and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience with AMS360 account management system preferred
- Travel may be required
