    What is expected of you for success in your role?


    • Identify external and internal technology growth opportunities and successfully work across the organization to covert these into commercial products. Promote strategy aligned ideas with decision makers to obtain resources for product development.
    • Identify opportunities and develop products by connecting key trends to novel technologies with customer (patient, caregivers) experience. Lead these projects to commercial success with responsibility for managing the product development or workstreams.
    • Responsible for life cycle management of the Catheter Care product lines (PosiFlush and Caps).
    • Responsible for product (including packaging) cost reduction initiatives and goals for the Catheter Care platform.
    • Utilizing your growing network and guidance from experts to develop novel technical solutions.
    • Convert opportunities into commercial gain by working across the organization
    • Provide influential leadership to the broader team in the achievement of department, division, and corporate goals.
    • Expand engineering, problem-solving, and lean agile development techniques and improve skill sets in Design for Six Sigma development methodologies.
    • Ensure that projects and products are of BD quality.
    • Communicate across the organization to inform and resolve issues.
    • Responsible for oversight of work product for associates within their team.
    • Responsible for development of associate career progression.
    • May be responsible for development of people managers.

    Qualifications Required:


    • BS degree in Engineering, Mechanical or other technical fields of study
    • Strong technical leadership skills.
    • 10 or more years of proven experience in product development
    • A demonstrated track record of technical influential leadership and delivering results.
    • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to influence decision-makers.
    • A dedication to delivering on organizational goals.

    Preferred:


    • Masters or PhD degree in a relevant scientific discipline
    • A broad background with experiences in Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing in addition to Product Development.
    • Proven experience converting key trends into relevant products
    • Proven experience developing and commercializing products in the medical device arena
