    The Leasing Consultant is responsible for various tasks in property management. Leasing Consultants are an integral part of the property management team by providing excellent customer service and participating in the marketing of the community.

    Position Requirements:
    • Responsible for office ready procedures, maintaining hours of availability open for residents questions.
    • Answering calls in a timely manner, responding to leasing inquiries.
    • Completes guest card information and logs information.
    • Manages Craigslist ads daily.
    • Responsible for accurate and timely record keeping of telephone, email, and walk-in traffic.
    • Prepares and qualifies applications for manager approval.
    • Takes initiative to create and implement marketing plans for improving resident satisfaction.
    • Responsible for all welcome paperwork with lease, associated addendums, and other compliance forms with policies and procedures.
    • Completes accurate walk throughs of apartment and community amenities with new residents to welcome them to the community.
    • Responsible for handling residents concerns, complaints, and questions in a professional and timely manner. Takes responsibility for escalating complaints to the appropriate managers if necessary.
    • Performs any additional duties assigned.
    Preferred Experience:


    Minimum of 1 year of sales and or Customer Service, in property management or related field.
    Leasing Experience Preferred.
    Yardi Experience Preferred
    Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills Preferred
    Time Management and organizational skills.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel & Outlook.

    Education and Availability:
    • A high school diploma is required, and some college work is a plus.
    • Must be able to work a flexible workweek as required, including weekends.
