    Description

    Not One More Vet (NOMV) will transform the status of mental wellness within the profession so veterinary professionals can survive and thrive through education, resources, and support.

    We serve every member of the veterinary community with support services including:
    vet tech students, veterinary students, support staff, vet techs, and veterinarians.

    We also serve pet parents with education and empathy for the wellbeing of the veterinary teams that keep their beloved pets safe and healthy.

    The Director of Development & Communications is passionate about the mission of NOMV and able to share our message to donors, community and all stakeholders.

    In addition, the position is responsible for the building and managing the NOMV brand and marketing communications in order to raise awareness.

    Individual, corporate, foundation, government or other fundraising opportunities
    Fund development events
    Research and develop partnerships and strategic alliances to increase NOMV's brand recognition and increase revenues.

    Identify, research, and cultivate prospects for major and planned gifting opportunities, including, developing an individual giving campaign, stocks and other assets, etc.

    Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to cultivate and solicit major donors and corporate sponsors.
    Manage staff and resources to achieve the goals and objectives.
    Responsible for ensuring the CRM management to track donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

    Write and submit grant applications to secure funding and prepare associated grant reports in collaboration with the NOMV team.

    Direct the creation, production and distribution of all marketing materials such as press releases, newsletters, and publications, and ensure the consistent use of branding across programs and activities.

    Support the preparation of budgets, communication regarding incoming funding, pledges, non-awarded.
    A minimum of 5 years work experience in nonprofit fundraising and marketing.
    Experience with Salesforce nonprofit is highly desired.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    A successful track record of fundraising including through major donor solicitation, events, and grant-writing.
    Must be willing and able to work from home.
    Background working in the mental health field is preferred.
    Bachelor's Degree highly desired.
