- Analyze forecasted demand and inventory and develop weekly supply plans that meet customer demands. Results should meet our target of fill rate while minimizing total inventory cost.
- Execute weekly plans optimally to minimize future gaps and maximize inventory turns.
- Analyze and set system parameters to optimize inventory, meet service level goals, and minimize costs.
- Maintain and update ERP master data for planning parts at various plants.
- Initiate Engineering Change requests based on material life cycle.
- Analyze and resolve product backlogs and fill rates daily.
- Identify problem areas and drive appropriate functional groups to correct them.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as finished goods planning and factory operations teams, to ensure sufficient capacities and materials meet supply requirements.
- Attend weekly conference calls with Europe and Asia-Pacific teams to sync on supply-demand matching regionally and globally.
- Publish weekly factory forecast and ensure deltas and gaps are communicated and bridged.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancement and work with key business stakeholders and IT to implement continuous system improvements.
- 5+ years of experience in a Software QA Engineer role
- Experience developing test plans and test cases, assessing risk, and filing appropriate defects
- Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices
- Able to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution
- Experience testing mobile applications
- Software scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Perl)
- Experience developing automated software tests
- Able to thrive in a collaborative working environment within your team and cross-functionally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
