- Translates moderately complex business needs into solid business and functional requirements.

- Collaborates with staff on process or system issues until full resolution, implementation and/or ongoing business or systems support is achieved and meeting operational needs.
- Prepares and distributes reports and metrics by analyzing and summarizing the information and trends.
- Analyzes and promotes business enhancement efforts with the goal of creating a positive impact on the customer experience and towards creating efficiencies.
- Actively involved in enhancement and implementation efforts to ensure the solution fits the needs of our customers both internally and externally.
- Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Assists with documenting and/or maintaining process documents for internal team members.
- Assists Health Integration division team in authorization efforts through company initiative.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related.
- At least 3 years of experience in business operations, data analysis, requirements gathering, business analysis, or related.
- Desire to learn the interworking of the organization and how the business operates.
- Ability to communicate well and take a collaborative approach with team members.
- Be a problem solver who enjoys thinking analytically through various situations to arrive at solutions.

A day in the life
The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting business initiatives by eliciting, documenting, and defining business requirements and contributing to system and/or process development for moderately complex projects and/or initiatives within the Utilization Management team. This role works closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of their business strategy, processes, services, roadmaps, and business operations to influence business decisions, deliver key insights, and optimize solutions.
