Impact Recruitment is currently looking for an Environmental Engineer on a full-time basis to join the team of one of our growing clients in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.
The Environmental Engineer will work with a dynamic multi-disciplinary team performing field investigations, project work, surveying, sample collection, data evaluation and tabulation, calculations, regulatory compliance review and assistance, and report writing/preparation.
Responsibilities of the Job:
Performs basic field tasks ,
including data collection and measurements
Prepares field notes and related documentation in accordance with company standards
Maintains excel databases associated with regulatory compliance
Assists with preparing regulatory submittals, such as permit applications and plans
Oversees well installations and soil borings
Collects ground water, soil, sediment, air, and surface water samples
Retrieves necessary data using online databases, off-line records, or other means
Enters collected data into report format using applicable software and company formatting guidelines
Applies basic knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and regulatory programs
Qualifications Preferred:
Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering (or related discipline) and 4-7 years of relevant experience
Must have personal vehicle for independent transportation to work sites
Ability to conduct field work with some heavy lifting
Proficient with MS Office suite of products
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training a plus
Previous consulting experience is a plus
