    Laboratory Scientist Lead - Edmond

    Under general direction performs complex professional technical and analytical work in a medical laboratory
    Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.
    Oversees the activities of personnel in the section related to the function managed. In addition, performs all testing within the section as needed.
    Sets up new methodologies, develops procedural protocols, writes procedures and trains laboratory personnel.
    Participates in performance improvement activities and supports the laboratory in meeting all regulatory accreditation standards.
    Effectively monitor and maintain compliance with hospital, federal and state regulations in area of assigned responsibility
    Bachelor of Science Degree OR Graduate of MT program AND

    Experience:
    Two (2) years' experience in a clinical laboratory.
    License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s)

    Required:
    Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
    Knowledge of medical technology, theory, practices, techniques and procedures. Skill in performing laboratory testing. Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures.

    Good communication skills, computer knowledge, and the ability to work with others as a team to ensure quality patient care.
