Job DescriptionMORI Associates is seeking a Media/Tour Specialist to schedule, conduct protocol tours and develop reports. Job is located at the NASA Johnson Space Flight Center in support of the National Communications Services Contract. The NASA Communication Services contract is the Agency's enterprise-wide contract for communication services. Work performed under the contract consists of communication services, including strategic communications, planning, and integration services; stakeholder relations and public engagement support; media relations services; history and archives services; library services; and services in support of Freedom of Information Act requests.

JOB DESCRIPTION / FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans and book tours at various buildings/departments
Follows safety and security protocols for all locations
Works closely with personnel from NASA badging office
Escorts and briefs guests of the center on JSC/NASA history
Plans and organizes tour agendas
Reports weekly tour schedule to NASA customers
Enters tour information into Salesforce daily and publishes a weekly report
Follows rules of etiquette and protocol for various levels of monarchy, government, military, and business. Both US and international
EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS WORK REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
US citizenship is required. Local candidates given preference.
Experience scheduling and conducting tours with guests at various levels of business, monarchy, and government.
Ability/experience following safety and security protocols.
Ability to work effectively with NASA customers in scheduling and escorting individuals.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Experience developing reports for customers and management (Salesforce experience a plus).
Very good verbal communication skills.
