Structures Staff Engineer (Bridge)
interested in developing their career to join our structures department in
Rancho Cordova, CA .
The successful candidate will be part of a team designing simple and complex bridges (primarily of concrete and steel construction) and a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other miscellaneous structures).
The candidate will be involved assisting in the development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) packages, field inspections, and performing construction design support services.

Required Skills & Required Experience:
Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an accredited 4-year engineering college.
Masters degree is preferred.
Possession of an EIT certificate is required (PE is preferred).
2-5 years of experience in bridge and retaining wall projects.
Experience designing transportation related structures projects to Caltrans and local agency standards.
Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications with Caltrans Amendments.
Preference for knowledge of CTBridge, CSiBridge, VBent, CTAbut, LPile, and/or similar analysis programs.
Proficiency using CADD (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred).
Proficient in MS Office (WORD and EXCEL).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly motivated and detail oriented with desire to deliver the highest quality projects to our clients.
The projected range for this position is $82,000 - $110,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
Must have a valid drivers license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
