    Description

    Main Purpose: Schedule, coordinate and supervise craft employee activities. May involve supervising managing several job sites for optimal productivity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and supervise craft activities; includes determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked
    • Coordinate assigned work with different crafts, company departments, or other contractors/site requirements
    • Maintain liaison with estimating and planning teams to ensure work complies with specifications, and schedule
    • Assist in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) as required
    • Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented
    • Recommend corrective action and recognition for employees
    • Perform BOCs
    • Administers productivity reports to assure work is meeting expectations
    • Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction
    • Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person

    Travel: 75%

    Requirements:

    • Technical expertise and experience in the trades
    • Understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and ability to control and supervise large groups essential
    • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in similar construction technology, methods, equipment, tools and work procedures required
    • Lift & move 45lbs or more
    • Strong Mechanical Aptitude
    • Willing to work in weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain)
    • Class A CDL a plus
    • Demolition experience a plus
    • Heavy equipment experience a plus
    • Computer/Office Machines - Microsoft Work, Excel, Outlook
    • English - proficient in business writing and verbal communication
    • Valid drivers license and acceptable motor vehicle record required when duties require use of motor vehicle
    • Ability to pass pre-employment and random screening for illegal substances
