    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

    ProCare Therapy is seeking an experiencedSpeech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for an extended school year program. This is a part-time position running from June 3rd to July 3rd, working with K-12th grade students. This position is M-F from 8 am to 1:30 pm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students develop their communication skills and be comfortable working in a school environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to K-12th grade students.
    • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
    • Assist with data collection and reporting on student progress.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective communication and support for students.
    • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
    • California SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
    • Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
