I'm looking to work with a family law attorney who feels called to practice differently.

After more than a decade in family law, I no longer believe that "business as usual" serves either clients or attorneys. The traditional model often prioritizes profits over people, rewards overbilling, and places attorneys in systems that commodify clients during profound grief and transition. That approach does not align with my values or with the work we are building at Bloom Family Law.

At Bloom, we focus on out-of-court resolution as a collaborative law firm and view divorce as a life transition, not a battle to be won. We are actively working to revolutionize the industry through innovative in-house divorce coaching packages and healing retreats that support clients emotionally while keeping legal work strategic and efficient. This opportunity is best suited for an attorney who:

• Has their own referral sources and professional network

• Is collaboratively trained and trained as a mediator, or is willing to pursue this training

• Does not believe in overbilling or profits over people

• Is interested in helping shape a more ethical, human-centered model of family law

Compensation:

Compensation is based on a percentage of billable hours, with a minimum billing requirement of 12.5 hours per week and the opportunity for up to 50% profit-sharing based on hours billed.

About My Approach:

I blend legal expertise with healing modalities because I believe the current family law system perpetuates harm rather than facilitating healing. My practice is about bringing sacred witness to this life transition and helping people alchemize their pain into power. I am looking for an attorney to help guide our legal clients through the process with compassion, empathy, and an understanding that we are all just walking each other home. I am looking to collaborate with someone who has a growth mindset and is looking to dream about creative ways we can support our clients going through divorce.

Based in the Bay Area but open to remote collaboration with the right person.
