Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a General Laborer for a contract opportunity in Moses Lake, Washington.
This role requires your physical presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, distribute, and organize materials efficiently and maintain quality standards.
- Handle receiving and inventory processes, resolving any issues promptly.
- Support production by fulfilling material requests and organizing team members as needed.
- Inspect incoming materials for accuracy and documentation, ensuring proper procedures.
- Label and track materials for easy retrieval within the warehouse.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through daily checks and cycle counts.
- Enter transactions into the ERP system and assist with traceability requirements.
- Prepare materials for shipment and contribute to reporting systems.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures, including handling Hazardous Materials.
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Complete other assigned duties.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- English communication skills (reading, writing, verbal).
- Ability to operate a forklift and apply mathematical knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Ethical behavior, interpersonal skills, and common sense understanding.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with general office equipment, Quality terms, and concepts.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb, lift weights, reach overhead, and work in varied environments.
- Normal or corrected vision, full range of motion with hands.
- Comfort working in different physical positions and areas.
EDUCATION:
- Accredited HSD/GED.
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time, 1st Shift, 8AM-5PM PST.
MISCELLANEOUS:
This role is considered "safety-sensitive" by the Client, with regulatory requirements for assigned contractors. Drug screening and background check are mandatory prior to employment.
