    As part of the UK Solutions Team, this position will provide pro-active and re-active support to internal and external customers.

    This is a field-based role, covering UK and Ireland and the role is a hands-on role, offering Service and Installation support at customer sites, as and when required.

    This role will also see you supporting pre and post sales activity, to help drive SNDS sales in a variety of solution and application areas.


    Key Responsibilities, include but not limited to:

    Post Sales and Support:

    • Provide readily available telephone support to answer technical questions and assist internal and external customers with fault finding.
    • Support service processes as needed, including RMA and Warranty cases.
    • Undertake planned maintenance visits, for dvLED Service Contracts.
    • Perform on-site and off-site repair / maintenance of clients display systems.
    • Prepare monthly / quarterly Service Reports, for service Contract Customers.
    • Liaise with Engineering, Quality and Service Department in Munich, for the full and timely resolution of quality, product, and / or service issues.
    • Working alongside the sales team to understand the needs of the customers, capturing, and defining the requirements and presenting solutions.
    • Providing excellent through life 3rd line support in support of our Operations team to ensure high customer satisfaction.
    • Able to show excellent customer support skills with the ability to interact with customers both on the phone and in meetings.
    • Assist with customer demonstrations externally and at the Sharp/NEC office locations.

    Admin & Reporting:

    • As required use company CRM tool.
    • Support service processes as needed.
    • Provide regular information on projects to support company forecast.
    • Liaise with Engineering, Quality and Service Department in Munich.

    Candidate Profile:

    • Minimum of 3 years recent experience in a similar role. Within an AV environment is a must, within display solutions is desirable.
    • Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly.
    • Able to Travel at least 50% of the working week, to meet on-site requirements of this role. Some travel, outside of the UK, may be required during the business year.
    • A problem solver, able to work on own initiative when required.
    • Good communication and presentation skills for middle to senior level client contacts.
    • Sufficient technical competence from an AV and or networking sales environment.
    • Experience of working with videowall technologies, including dvLED technologies.
    • Experience of working with Novastar processing equipment, and other similar brands, such as Brompton is desirable.
    • An understanding of electrical and wiring circuits, desirable.
    • Experience working with UC/VC Systems and centralised control systems, desirable.
