Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance (active clearance preferred)
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of applicable experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems and infrastructure technologies, especially Active Directory
• Account Management and working knowledge of LAN and WAN network environments
• Ability to secure operating systems and applications in a STIG environment
• Ability to work in a mixed-OS environment; working knowledge of Networking and Linux
• Ability to interpret ACAS/Nessus scan results to remediate vulnerabilities
• Scripting experience with powershell and/or bash

Description:

An employer is looking to hire a Windows Engineer to join their team as a fulltime employee. This team supports a high availability computing org for research supporting government entities. In this role you will support system architecture design (compute, hardware/virtual, OS, storage, networking, security), translate researcher IT needs into robust and scalable IT Solutions/Infrastructure, manage virtual machines, contribute to CI/CD processes, validate security control configurations, and more. This is a fulltime opening with on-site work local to Pt. Loma, San Diego, CA. In addition to base salary there also includes generous benefits package including higher education and certification support.
