    About the Team

    The Inventory Coordinator will be crucial member of the expanding L400 Phase 2 Material Sustainment Team. The team is responsible for all aspects of material through life support, including order fulfilment, CMCA stock management, warehouse activities and logistics functions.

    About the Role

    The Inventory Coordinator will ensure that the inventory and S&TE in support of L400 Phase 2, including Block 1 fleet is managed in accordance with the extant contracted ISSMP and all future contractual arrangements.

    The incumbent will manage all warehouse activities associated with CMCA stock, including but not limited to:
    • Goods Receipt;
    • Stock Management, including stock taking; and
    • Goods Issues.
    Further to these duties the incumbent will be responsible for reviewing stock usage and conduct appropriate stock determination calculations.

    The general and generic duties of the Inventory Coordinator include, but not limited to:
    • Oversee CMCA Warehouse activities;
    • Coordinate stocktaking IAW the ISSMP;
    • Support CoA External stock assurance checks conducted by the Commonwealth;
    • Oversee customer S&Q activities in support of material for maintenance and CMCA stock;
    • Material sourcing and procurement, and respective reporting;
    • Monitoring and managing Obsolesence;
    • Conduct Stock Assessments throughout the ISS, by monitoring stock usage rates, minimum stocking levels and 'stock out' occurrences;
    • Conduct requirements determination of stock turnover along with any consequences of changes in the Block I;
    • Plan, develop, implement and evaluate material availability and material forecast;
    • Understand and manage Engineering Change risks to minimise impact on maintenance;
    • Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect Block 1 vehicle availability; and
    • Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement.

    The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
    • Multiple years' experience with material planning;
    • Detailed understanding of Inventory management and planning;
    • In depth understanding of Engineering Change impacts on material planning;
    • Detailed experience with SAP;
    • Excellent communication skills; and
    • Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
