    IT Senior Systems Engineer:

    We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at TouchSuite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network, servers, storage administration, with a focus on PCI compliance in the merchant services industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our network infrastructure, ensuring its security and reliability, and overseeing our servers, firewalls, and access points.

    Responsibilities:

    • Install and configure software applications and updates, as well as operating systems, and ensure all software is up-to-date and compatible.
    • Manage and maintain user accounts, including setting up new users, modifying existing accounts, and resetting passwords.
    • Provide network support, including troubleshooting connectivity issues and setting up VPN connections.
    • Monitor and maintain computer systems, including identifying and resolving security risks and ensuring system performance.
    • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and order necessary equipment and software.
    • Document technical processes, procedures, and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing, and provide to internal/external audit when required.
    • Train end-users on basic computer usage and best practices for system security and data management.
    • Assist with the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for presentations and events.
    • Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
    • Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls and access points to protect our network from threats and unauthorized access.
    • Work with third-party vendors to source hardware, software, and services as required.
    • Join TouchSuite ITSM group, contributing to the definition and documentation of IT Security Policy, Procedures and Technical implementation.
    • Elaborate Physical and Virtual IT services Capacity Planning, quote and project IT infrastructure acquisition, maintenance and TCO.
    • Contribute to the definition, maintenance, test and execution of the Business Continuity Plan.
    • Monitor PCI environment, report exceptions, issues or threats, and taking corrective actions as required, ensuring the PCI environment is segregated from TouchSuite Administrative Network.
    • Elaborate, implement and maintain IT Physical, Network and Application Security Plan.
    • Elaborate and Monitor IT Service Level Agreements, proposing and taking corrective actions as necessary.
    • Report and analyze security threats and incidents, proposing improvements in the IT infrastructure to avoid and better respond to threats and incidents.
    • Execute, monitor and handle backup/replication of File Servers and Database backups.
    • Implement, manage and execute Change Management Procedures, communicating and aligning change requirements, impacts and rollback across business units.
    • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including diagnosing, repairing, and replacing faulty equipment and components.
    • Ability to lift and move equipment of up to 50lbs if needed.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Proven experience in network administration, preferably in a merchant services or financial services environment.
    • Strong knowledge of PCI DSS and experience with compliance audits.
    • Proficiency in server administration and management.
    • Familiarity with firewall and access point configuration and management.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Leadership experience and the ability to manage a team.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CISSP, CCNA) a plus.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing industry.
