Description
The compliance research associate reports to the Director of Compliance and is responsible for the execution of individual research projects, reports and memos.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Execution of research projects;
Conduct social media research across multiple platforms;
Comprehensive vetting using LexisNexis and other searchable databases; and,
Ability to conduct independent research and provide succinct report
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
Ability to work cohesively with other staff members;
Strong time management skills;
Ability to communicate concisely across multiple medium; and,
Comfort with and ability to learn new software or databases.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
Commitment to the Democratic National Committee and its core values;
Previous experience using LexisNexis preferred;
1-2 years of campaign experience is strongly preferred; and,
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
The starting salary for the Compliance Research Associate position is $51,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
This position is eligible for overtime wages and is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU local-500. This is an HQ based position with an end date of November 15, 2024.This position requires up to 5% travel both in the Washington, D.C. area and across the country to attend and support meetings and events.
