- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify safety hazards and risks.
- Provide safety training programs for employees to enhance awareness of safety protocols.
- Collaborate with managers to address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety excellence.
- Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate records related to safety inspections, incidents, and compliance.
- Stay updated on safety regulations and recommend updates to existing policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety highly desirable.
- Prior experience as a Safety Officer in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data and implement effective safety solutions.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and relevant software applications.
