    Duties

    The primary purpose of this position is: This person will also serve as the Group Deployment Manager ensuring assigned personnel are qualified and ready to meet Air Expeditionary Force requirements. The position also provides administrative and computer support to the current operations function to include planning, scheduling, flight following, and support to current, immediate or pending flight operations under the guidance of the Wing Operation, the Wing Current Operations Flight Commander and the immediate supervisor. Published the monthly operations plan (MOP). Maintains a cumulative total of the wing's $26M flying hour program for C-21s and C-40s. Consolidates inputs and publishes weekly and monthly C-21A flying schedules. Maintains library of publications and plans required to perform the current operations function.

    Duties:
  • Plans, organizes, and oversees all group level deployment activities. Provides technical guidance and recommendations to senior leadership regarding unit deployment program
  • Performs analysis activities. Ensures personnel readiness
  • Assists with the planning, execution, and reporting on flight operations for 20 C-21A aircraft at three locations
  • Inputs mission information into the Global Decision Support System 2 (GDSSII), encodes and inputs 175 missions per month into GDSSII for C-21s.
  • Coordinates the wing's static display, airshow, and orientation flight program as part of the Monthly Operations Plan
