    Responsibilities:
    • Provide oversight and direction to clinical team
    • Make rounds with physicians, as necessary
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff and medical team
    • Review care plans daily to confirm that appropriate care is being rendered
    • Monitor residents' conditions and report accordingly
    • Other special projects and duties, as assigned
    To join this team please have the following requirements:
    • Primary series of the COVID Vaccine Required (or new bivalent COVID Vaccine or medical exemption)
    • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in Rhode Island
    • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred
    • Five (5) or more years of nursing experience required;
      • Three (3) years or more years of experience as a unit manager/supervisor in a nursing care center, hospital or other related health care center on a subacute unit
    • Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc.
    • Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
    • Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
    • Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
    • Must be available for rotating on-call schedule with other nursing leadership team
    • Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to skilled nursing care facilities
