    Nursing Assistant Student

    Holladay Park Plaza and Mirabella Portland are excited to offer a paid Nursing Assistant 1 education opportunity to candidates seeking to work as part of our health services team Earn an hourly wage while you learn Successful graduates will be eligible to take the certification exam through the Oregon State Board of Nursing and work as a nursing assistant.

    Nursing Assistant Student Pay: Starting at $17.50 / hour DOE

    Location: Classrom and Lab are at Holladay Park Plaza. 3 days of Clinicals will be at Mirabella Portland

    Schedule:

    • Orientation April 15 10am-2pm
    • Class Schedule: April 16-May 2 Tues-Friday 9am-5pm
    • Clinicals May 3- May 15: Tue-Friday 7:30am-4pm
    • Skills Day/Practice & Graduation: May 16-May 18
    • Certification Test: TBD

    *Application Deadline is March 25*

    About you:

    • No Prior Caregiver or Healthcare experience required
    • Qualified applicants must have the ability to successfully pass criminal history check if they are a current employee and must be authorized to work in the U.S
    • Ability to read and write at a 6th grade English level

    About the Class

    • Instructor led, State Board of Nursing Approved curriculum
    • Lab skills practice
    • Clinical practice
    • Preparation for the State Certification Exam
    • Currently, the state certification exam is only offered in English.
    • No Class Fees for NA students

    Included in the program:

    • On-site CPR certification
    • Use of Chrome book for in-class use
    • 2 sets of scrubs
    • Certification and testing fees for first attempt
    • Learning materials
