    Job Title: Electrical Engineer

    Job Description:

    We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to ensure that electrical installations within company project requirements, regulatory standards, and code compliance. As an integral part of our team, you will design new facilities, oversee modifications to existing ones, conduct field inspections, and provide support during the construction phase.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct electrical design and analysis for industrial facilities.

    Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications for manufacturing, construction, and installation.

    Coordinate various activities, including manufacturing, construction, installation, and testing, to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.

    Assess existing installations to ensure conformity with design and safety standards.

    Collaborate with drafting personnel to prepare construction documents.

    Act as a technical expert and provide support for electrical engineering issues.

    Develop engineering concepts and material estimates for proposal submissions.

    Requirements:

    Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.

    Minimum of 10 years experience in electrical analysis and design.

    Professional Engineering license preferred, with the ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.

    Advanced knowledge of design codes and standards.

    Strong background in industrial construction.

    Proficiency in electrical design software.

    Ability to prepare clear and concise technical reports and documentation.

    Experience in specifying materials and equipment for purchase.

    Additional Skills:

    Proficiency in AutoCAD.

    Attention to detail and accuracy.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    Comfortable engaging with customers and subcontractors.

    Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

    Working Conditions:

    Preferably based in our Pittsburgh office, but remote work with industry experience will be considered.

    Domestic travel may be required to support projects.

    Ability to maneuver within operating facilities and construction sites.

    Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
