    Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

    Location: Eugene, OR, and surrounding areas

    We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and provide exceptional services to students in Eugene, OR, and the surrounding areas. As a School-Based OT, you will play a critical role in helping students develop and improve their fine motor skills, sensory integration, and functional independence within an educational setting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students with occupational therapy needs.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' functional needs.
    • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' goals and progress.
    • Offer guidance and support to teachers and other staff members regarding strategies to enhance students' participation and independence.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
    • Valid Oregon state license or eligibility for licensure.
    • Previous experience in a school-based setting is desirable but not required.
    • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
